We have been in Vienna since late yesterday, and, incidentally, have known how to correctly pronounce Wien for about the same amount of time. We spent the afternoon of our first full day here at the movies! The best activity for the final-day-before-the-rain.
It was for a good cause though, the Burg Kino was playing The Third Man, a movie set in occupied post-WWII Vienna. What better way to reorient ourselves to a new city than seeing it in cinematic, slightly destroyed, form?
Our next task is of course to ride the ferris wheel in Wurselprater as soon as possible. And then to find langos, because we can’t be so close to Budapest for nothing.
