Santa Lucia infographic

IMG_2442.JPG

An infographic explaining how to celebrate Santa Lucia, made for me by a seven year old. At the top we have the salt and polenta flour being put on the plate. In the middle, a representation of the salt, polenta flour and water on the plate, to be left out for Santa Lucia. And at the bottom, written confirmation that Santa Lucia will be making an appearance at a piazza later this evening. Written to emphasise the point, as I initially thought by ‘see her’ that my student had plans to catch her in the polenta eating act. That my knowledge was found wanting was made clear to me. Hence the exclamation mark after go. Piazza is written on the right, as the English word was unknown.
