Who are you and why are you here

First (two) Italian classes done! The administrator, I guess taking advantage of my unemployed status, signed me up for two streams  -meaning four 1.5 hr classes per week.

Both classes were good – I felt dazed and confused in one, a good sign that I will be challenged, and in the other got to go over a few grammatical details on basic ‘who are you and why are you here’ questions. We were requested to keep our responses to ‘why are you in Italia’ short and free of detailed explanations. My current reply to these queries in English is rather long, full of excuses and explanations, but in class it was limited to ‘for love’.

I’ve got to find a job, stat, so I stop sounding like such a sap.
